Us Stream
A self-hosted video meeting platform with screen sharing, a shared whiteboard, live notes and polls.
Us Stream is a video conferencing platform you can host yourself. Rooms persist, so you can come back to the same room with its whiteboard, notes and chat history intact.
In a call you get video and audio with active-speaker highlighting, screen sharing with tab audio, chat with reactions and raised hands, a whiteboard tied to the room, collaborative notes, a waiting room, host controls and live polls with Q&A.
It is a monorepo. The Next.js web app runs on Vercel and mints LiveKit tokens, a realtime service on Railway handles Yjs document sync and meeting close-out, LiveKit Cloud carries the media, and MongoDB Atlas stores rooms, meetings, chat and snapshots. Shared Zod schemas keep both sides speaking the same protocol.
